O.K. Here is my summer fun toy. . .a retractable clothesline. I Love It!! I told Kevin I would like one for drying blankets, rugs, swimming towels and stuff like that. Well, I use it for everthing. Erin said "NO" to hanging up her underwear, but when she's not around, I sneak it on. (I won't hang my underwear out there, though) I really have loved having it, though. I told Kevin it makes me feel a little like a pioneer woman - he just laughed. I will be interested to see if it is saving us much on our monthly bill. But with the dishwasher broken and the kids learning to wash dishes by hand, they really think we are living like they did in the "olden days". So funny!
Just thought I'd share. DeAnna, I know you have a real clothesline - Why didn't you tell me how much fun it is!??!!

I want one of those. Looks like you guys have been very busy. I thought maybe you were a little down because you missed your NP friends...but I think worrying about your dad would make much more sense. I hope all goes well with him. Enjoy you time with your kids!
Way to go, Tracy. I used to love hanging clothes on my clothesline. When we lived in California and James was a baby, I hung tons of diapers. Imagine that. And all his little soft baby clothes. And all the towels, sheets, etc. Enjoy - I love you. Mom
LOVE IT!! I told Colt I wanted one but we don't have a place to hang it, that we can think of. You're so old!!... I mean old fashioned. ;o)
love ya,
STEF
Ooooohhhhh, I love it! That sure does bring back lots of fun memories!! I remember teeter-tottering into the clothes and thinking it was hilarious. Oh the joys of childhood!
The clothes line can be fun or it can be not so fun for the kids who hate to hang their clothes out on the line. I get all of my laundry done in one day! It's worth it to me. Hanging up underware is a big no no in our house though! Hey, our dishwasher broke about 8 months ago so tell Avery and Erin it could be worse maybe even 8 months worse(we got a new one about a month ago I forgot how handy they are)De
