When we asked what Taylor wanted for her birthday, all she could come up with was - a pinata. Apparantly she has everything she could ever dream of, except for a real horse. We had been at ballgames on Friday and Saturday, so I was trying to get things taken care of over the phone. Thanks to those of you who helped make things come together!
Kevin and Avery were in Pocatello, so I had him pick up an Ipod for Taylor. We agreed that it was something that she would really enjoy, and also help get her through those long days at the ballparks. She has really enjoyed that gift, just like we had hoped. She also got a cute outfit, $5 from Avery, a Webkins, and $20 from Grandma Pam.
It was a fun Mother's Day too. All of mom and dad's kids were here! That hasn't happened since Christmas, I think. It was nice, and the weather was pretty good too. Here are a few cute pictures -

She was doing better hittinig it after the first couple of swings. Look at the lineup of kids waiting their turn. That wasn't even all of them!I can't believe my baby is 8 years old! It is amazing how fast time goes by. Taylor has always been such an easy personality, always going with the flow, wherever that may take her. From the time she was a baby, and I would have to put her down in the middle of feeding her to solve a crisis with Avery and Erin or wake her from naps to get somewhere we had to be - right up till now when our schedules are often crazy, and she gets to be a part of that. Her favorite thing to do is to sit and play a board game with anyone who will. She has loved this passtime since she was about 3 years old. She is a sweet little girl and growing up so fast! I love you Taylor Jo and I'm so glad that I get to be your mom!!!

Happy Birthday (over a month later and AGAIN!!) TAYLOR JO!!! I'm glad our family was there to celebrate your fun party with you. I can't believe you're 8, too. I still remember the day you were born... and the months to follow. I love you tons. I hope you have a good "year 8" and keep up your mellow, easy going attitude. You're a fun girl and teach my kids lots... so make sure you teach them the good things!!! =)
Love you, love you!!
