Orem Tournament

Erin's team played in Orem on May 9 & 10. Avery's team played up in Pocatello that same weekend. So Kevin took Avery while I had Erin and Taylor. Avery's team had kind of a rough time. I think everybody wants to win a game so bad that they are starting to turn on each other. I guess there were a couple of moms who had a little "issue" at the games on Saturday. It's kind of hard, but at least Avery is playing. He needs to learn to lose as much as he needs to know how to win. But it's not nearly as fun.

Erin's team did pretty well. They took third place in the tournament. They had a couple of games that they really should have won, but just forgot how to hit the ball. They didn't even make it through the lineup in one game, and I don't think that has ever happened! But 3rd isn't anything to feel bad about. Good job girls!

These are real girls who aren't afraid to get dirty!!!!!!

We pulled up to the ball park on Saturday morning and Taylor said, "Oh ya, this is the ballpark that I always come to on my birthday." What a sweetie. She doesn't really love all the ballgames, but she makes the best of it (usually). She plays with some of the other little sisters, or as I like to call them, softball orphans. But the days get pretty long, we don't usually get enough sleep, and there is never enough fun stuff in our bag. Here is a picture of Taylor "making the most of it!"

Good Job!! Softball was one of my favorite sports growing up, I miss it. Keep it up Erin!!! As for Avery, be patient and remember practice makes perfect...for the whole team. Your team is bound to get better the more you play together!! Love you all!

Tay is such a trooper! You need to buy some thick math work books, I guess. :o)

It is so fun to watch Avery and Erin play, I am the proudest aunt anywhere!! They both work so hard and really love the game. I hope they keep up the hard work and hang on to that "lovin feeling".
