Go Sliders!!!

So sorry - to anyone who cares - that it has been so long since I've updated you on the happenings here in our world.

I'll have to catch you up by doing baby steps so that you don't get overwhelmed.
On July 10, 11 & 12, Erin's softball team played in the state championship. We were lucky this year because we only had to travel to Brigham City (20 min away). They did so great! There is one team in our division, Charge, that is very intimidating and has beat our girls every time they have played. Actually, not just beat, but CREAMED us.

On the 3rd day, we ended up going against them for the state championship. It was a great game. Our girls played soooo great! We came in 2nd, but that game was amazing. Our girls were hitting the ball, had great defense, and really confused the Charge team. They thought it would be an easy win, but the game went into extra innings and we played hard through the whole thing. Even though we lost, our girls knew they all played their best and did an amazing job. Go Sliders!! What a great way to finish the season.

We'll let you know how tryouts go. Here are a few pictures from that day.

Some of the girls being crazy. Some of the girls brought fun little treats and stuff (like the glasses) to keep the them excited.

Here they are getting their trophies.

Here is the whole team, and coaches, not wanting the fun to end.
