CATS!

I know many of you have been waiting for this post, so finally, your wait is over!

Grandma Pam noticed a few months ago that the show CATS was going to be in Salt Lake in September. She is probably the only person who really knows how much Taylor loves this show. Grandma has the video of it, and Taylor has been watching it, acting it out, and singing it since she was about 3 years old and grandma was watching her part time. Anyway, those two got so excited! There was no way we wouldn't go see it. Grandma got tickets for opening night. On this special night, kids were able to get their faces painted. Taylor was soooo excited, and she shared that excitement with nearly everyone she came across. It was so fun to watch.

We headed down right after school and had dinner at Crown Burger -- yum! Then we headed over to Capitol Theatre and waited for a couple of hours for the show to start. In these pictures you can see how totally excited she is. She was literally "bouncing off the walls".

We were so early, they wouldn't even let us in yet!

Thinking she is as lucky as a princess to be here right now!

Not only getting her face painted, but painted by one of her favorite characters, Magical Mr. Mustofalees! She talked about him all night - even though he wasn't performing that first night.
The finished product!

She had been crossing days off the calendar forever counting down the days. During intermission grandma asked Taylor, "now what do you have to look forward to once this is over?" She answered without hesitation, "Tomorrow is early out day, and I get to come over to your house!" Thanks, mom for making a super special night for a super special little girl!!!!!

Love these pictures. That was an absolutely wonderful evening for an excited little girl. She laughed and smiled the whole evening. Of course, her mother and grandmother did too, just watching her. Thanks, Tracy, for posting these pictures. Love, Mom

You can just tell how excited she is. (I love her dress!) And then to get her face painted by someone she really likes...she'll remember that night forever. Those are great pics!
