Oh Deer!

We have had deer in our yard before. Between them and the rabbits, we have spent a whole lot of money on our yard. But with all of the building going on up here, not so many are showing themselves, they sneak in later. But today, we were hanging out in the kitchen when all of a sudden there were a couple of deer walking down the hill into our back yard. As we sat watching them, we were quite surprised when there ended up being 9 deer in our yard. There was a buck, a couple of doe, and some mamas. They kept looking at us, but didn't really mind us being there. They must be getting used to all of us humans invading their territory. It was pretty cool.

You can see the houses closing in on us, but there is still a little bit of room for nature!
