As many of you know, Avery and Erin's cell phone broke. We told them that we weren't buying them a new one. They decided to work hard to earn money so they can each have their own phone. They also will have to pay $5 a month toward our plan. Avery especially has been very creative in how he's earning his money. He has cleaned my van, scrubbed windows and screens and scrubbed grout in the kitchen floor.
My favorite, though, was when Avery and Erin were starting to really bug each other, and Kevin said, "I'll bet you each $5 that you can't go the rest of the day without touching each other." They love a challenge! As you can see below, it wasn't going to be easy, so they needed reminders because they really need that $5!

They did get their $5. We even played a family game that night and they sat right next to each other. There were some close calls, but way to go kids!!!!
