Young Women Fieldtrip

On Monday, the young women from our ward headed to Salt Lake for a little fieldtrip. We were able to go to the open house of the Oquirrh Mountain temple. It is so beautiful, just like all the other temples I've been able to go to. I think the girls enjoyed it too.
It was very windy, but at least not raining when we finished our tour. Not a real great picture of everybody, but we were having fun!

After the temple, we had lunch in a church house nearby, then headed for Sweet's Candy Factory for a tour. I don't know how I did it, but I googled the wrong address! How does that happen!?!? I had given each of the drivers directions to a wrong address! Not just a little wrong, I was sending them to 3700 North on the east side of Salt Lake when we were supposed to be on 1100 East 3700 South! I was the 3rd car in a line of 5, and when I was left at a red light, the girls in my van said, "you are not a sheep, Tracy, we can lead the others there." At this point, I didn't know the address was wrong.

Well, I called my sister, Leslie, to ask a simple question, and she informed me of the gigantic mistake. I told the girls to call the drivers of the other cars to tell them of the error (I didn't want to be the one to tell them!), and give them the right address. THANKS, Les!!!! for getting us there. Between her giggles, she googled the right address, and made sure that I arrived safely. The other two cars arrived within 2 minutes after we got there, and we were early for our tour! It was a fun day, and the weather waited to turn really bad when we were finally home.

It sounds like so much fun. At least I had Taylor, with DeAnna's help, and sure enjoyed the day. I am still waiting for my candy you promised to bring me. Like I really need it, right? Love you, Mom
